Annual Scientific Meeting on Pediatric Infectious Diseases
Infectious diseases in children remain a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in Indonesia and worldwide. The emergence and re-emergence of infectious diseases, alongside neglected conditions, emphasize the ongoing threat to public health. Global dynamics such as climate change, mobility, and antimicrobial resistance complicate management. ASMPID 2025, themed “Emerging and Neglected Pediatric Infectious Diseases: Bridging Knowledge, Practice, and Policy,” aims to enhance professional capacity and collaboration through symposiums, lectures, expert sessions, and workshops. Topics include dengue, malaria, HIV/AIDS, antimicrobial resistance, and more, with a focus on clinical, preventive, and policy aspects. Open to diverse health professionals, ASMPID seeks to strengthen competencies and networks, supporting sustainable improvements in child health in Indonesia.
